Welcome!

Welcome, everyone, to "Unleash the Wolf," blog of the Black Wolf Historical Fencing Club. This is just going to be a brief introductory note to say hi and to let you know how we plan to use this space. 

We're going to talk about all things HEMA here. Sometimes it'll be updates about what we're working on at the club, sometimes it'll be the struggles and successes related to teaching, sometimes it'll be advice based upon some of our own experiences. We'll discuss in detail the topics we're also covering in our historical videos and might even do interviews with folks.

Most importantly, though, is we want to use this space to share ideas, discuss the process of becoming the best HEMA fighter you can be, and generally encouraging one another as much as possible. We all know it's not easy to seriously study HEMA -- regardless of what discipline you're working on is in and of itself difficult, there is never enough time to train properly, and we certainly are not held in the same regard as are folks who are dedicated to studying an AMA, which can make remaining dedicated that much more difficult -- so any support we can offer one another would be for the better.

So like I said, this was just a brief note to say hi and to keep an eye out for more posts from us in the near future. Until then, stay loose and train hard!
